ABOUT US
JOHN CHANDLER
A graduate of both Virginia Episcopal School and Randolph-Macon College, John Chandler founded Chandler Construction in 2013. His path to becoming a Class A General Contractor began as a summer laborer in 1999 while working for a local contractor in his native town of Blacksburg, Virginia. After college, John began his formal career in the construction industry at 84 Lumber by providing some of the Richmond area’s most notable builders with their lumber and building materials. Combining this foundation with onsite construction management experience in working for a local developer, John brings a unique background and skillset to the forefront when working with clients. It is his belief in listening to client’s needs first that allows us to deliver on the promise that each project is as unique as the client can imagine or demand, regardless of size or budget. John, his wife and their two children live in Midlothian.
DWIGHT JOHNSON
Originally from Richmond, Dwight Johnson brings nearly 25 years of combined construction experience in both the residential and commercial remodeling and new construction segments. His extensive work in historic restoration, high-end remodeling and custom carpentry make Dwight a valuable asset to each project, our clients and our subcontractor base that supports us. Dwight enjoys golfing and fishing in his free time, and lives with his wife and their son in Richmond.
